I Have Done the Software Testing Capstone Work in 3 Parts named as Milestones. Now For the Final Submission, I need to create a Comprehensive Version of overall 3 parts.

Milestones : 1 - 3 : Please Find the attachments.

Here is the Question for your Reference:

Testing Assignment Scenario:

You and your testing team have been tasked with testing a new benefits application that is being developed. Your company uses a flexible benefits plan, allowing company employees to customer their heal benefit plan based on personal preferences. The benefits application is expected to go live in 3 months.

Your company’s Human Resources department uses a cafeteria-style approach to provide employees with health care benefits. Each September, employees review their current benefits, modify their elections and then sign election forms. Any changes must be entered and tracked in the benefits application. For medical insurance, an employee enrolls with a preferred provider organization (PPO) or health maintenance organization (HMO). The company currently pays the monthly medical premiums for its employees. However, if an employee enrolls in a dental plan or vision plan, the employee pays a modest monthly premium for the optional plan. An employee may carry medical, dental, and/or vision coverage for one or more of his or her family members. In order to carry insurance on a family member, the employee must carry the same coverage. For example, to carry dental insurance on a spouse, the employee must also carry dental insurance on him or herself.

The benefits application must track employee information like employee ID, department ID, name, address information and office extension number. It must also track information about each insurance company to include the company number and company name. Dependent information and their relationship to the insured employee must also be tracked. An employee must be able to request an enrollment form, and Human Resources must be able to update the effective date of the health benefits on the form. In addition, the application must track the health care benefits rates for PPO and HMO, plus dental and vision rates. Benefits rates differ by employee only, employee + spouse, employee + spouse + one child, and employee + family. (Computer science homework help (Solved))

Question description

Before beginning this assignment, please make sure that you review all of the information contained in the “Transferable Skills Project Portfolio” folder.

Throughout your education, you have been asked to research topics and write papers, engage in thought-provoking discussions, consider diverse perspectives, and a host of other challenges that have required you to use both your discipline-specific skills as well as your soft skills to show proficiency of content-related topics. These are called transferable skills. Transferable skills are skills that you develop that can betransferred and applied within your chosen career. Transferable skills are highly valuable and essential for career success.

It is now time to submit your “exemplar project/assignment” and “transferable skills reflection”. To complete this assignment, you will need to do the following:

Exemplar Project/Assignment(s)

  • Please review your student “Transferable Skills Project Portfolio” folder for important details regarding your Capstone Portfolio and a review of the six transferable skills.
  • Select an exemplary project (or assignment) from your Transferable Skills Project Collection that demonstrates your mastery of at least threetransferable skills during your time as a student at Rasmussen College; or select your project from this course if you feel that it best represents your mastery of at least three transferable skills.(Utilize the Transferable Skills Rubrics to help you assess the suitability of an assignment for demonstrating proficiency in any of the six transferable skills).
    • Make sure to compile ALL components of your project/assignment(s) (if the project covers several assignments, compile them all in their proper order). Sometimes a project can span throughout several week of a course. For example, if you have 5 assignments as part of a project, you will need to compile ALL 5 assignments into one document/final project in proper order.
    • You may also use your “Capstone Project” as an exemplary assignment (as long as it showcases at least 3 transferable skills).
    • Compile all of the rubrics that your Instructor used to grade each component of your project or transferable skills assignment. Copy and paste them in proper order to the end of your project. The rubrics should be the last few pages of your project assignment. If done correctly, everything will be one document!
    • You want to make sure that you are submitting your best work or the project that BEST represents the transferable skills. Refer to the scores on the assignment rubrics under “transferable skills section of the rubric” that your faculty member provided for you, for each assignment. Also, be cognizant of the level of the course. The goal is for you to show mastery of the skills. For example, if you are taking a 400 level Capstone, then maybe select a project from one of your 300 or 400 level courses.

Transferable Skills Self Reflection(portfolio for healthcare)

  • In a minimum of 2 full pages, you will need to write an essay (full introduction and conclusion paragraph), and include:
    • A description of each of the transferable skills that you’ve chosen to demonstrate proficiency of for your exemplary portfolio project.
    • Discuss the reasons why you feel that this particular project or assignment reflects your understanding of each skill. Be specific!
    • Describe the knowledge, skills and/or attitudes regarding each of the transferable skills that you’ve gained as a result of completing this particular project/assignment.
    • Discuss the ways that you are going to incorporate the transferable skills (the transferable skills that you showcased in your exemplary project) into your work within your chosen career field.
    • Describe your future goals based on the transferable skills that you’ve chosen to showcase.
    • Make sure to include an APA formatted title page.
    • Write your paper utilizing proper APA formatting guidelines, proper tone and grammar.
[img src=”https://content.learntoday.info/Learn/course_files/images/icons/sb_important.jpg” align=”left” hspace=”10″ title=”important”> Once you have completed your reflection assignment, you will need to add it to the end of your exemplar project. The self-reflection should be the last few pages of your exemplar assignment. If done correctly, everything will be one document! The sole exception is if part of the project is in another program, such as PowerPoint or if your file is too large. If that’s the case then you’ll have multiple files to submit; the PowerPoint and then the combined Word documents. Save these to one folder, zip or compress the folder, and then submit the zipped folder.

Counseling Skills: Silence Practice

Counseling Skills: Silence Practice

(Counseling Skills: Silence Practice)

Read Instructions Before Asking To Do Assignment

For this module, you will be engaging in a few different necessary activities that “set the stage” for your first counseling session. Every initial meeting with a client requires an ethical discussion regarding full disclosure of the counseling process. Within this discussion, one should be acquiring a signed informed consent form. In this class, you will be required to practice your skills with others; ethically you are required to provide informed consent and to get their agreement in written form.

One of the most powerful foundational counseling skills is silence. It is important for counselors to be able to sit comfortably in silence while focusing fully on their client. The final part of this module’s assignment intends to help you identify how this might or might not be a challenging skill for you to develop.

Directions:

Follow the below directions to complete this three-part assignment. First, you are to create a counseling informed consent form and an opening statement. Then you are to identify someone to assist you with a short “counseling” session where you will practice your informed consent and opening statement as well as the “Five Minutes of Silence” exercise. You will then write a reflection critiquing your experiences.

Part I: Develop an Informed Consent to Counseling Form

Review the “Written Consent Template.” Develop your personal written informed consent form referencing the template as a guide. Your form should have a personal letterhead, contained to a single page (you can use single spacing), and contain all of the required essential information.

There are five major sections for your consent form: Letterhead, Introduction, Confidentiality, Audio/Videotape, and Boundaries of Competence (see the template above). Note that your informed consent will vary according to the setting (i.e., a mental health clinic, a psychiatric hospital, or a private practice) and the client with whom you are working (i.e., a child, an adult, or a couple).

Part II: Create an Opening Statement

In approximately 1 page:

Create an “Opening Statement” monologue regarding what you might specifically say to your client when meeting him or her for the first time. This statement should include the following:

  • Formal education/training
  • Continuing education and supervision requirements
  • Your supervisor’s information
  • Philosophy and approach to counseling (write in layman’s terms)
  • Counseling fee schedule—Remember, for your practice sessions there will be no fee!
  • Limits of confidentiality (also review the American Counseling Association’s [ACA’s] website)
  • Contact information for any complaints related to counseling/counselor

Part III: Practice and Reflection of Your Informed Consent, Opening Statement, and Five Minutes of Silence

Part of this module’s assignment is to practice your opening statement with a “client” and review your informed consent. For this session, your informed consent should include informing your client about the silence exercise. The “Five Minutes of Silence” exercise will include two parts: 1) where you, as the counselor, attempt to stay silent for five minutes allowing the client to speak while practicing being attentive; 2) where you sit in complete silence with the client for 15 seconds.

It is important for clinicians to be comfortable in silence and be self-aware of their nonverbal attending skills, thus allowing clients to have time to reflect during the session and choose to speak when ready. Nonverbal body language can also say a lot to the observer as to whether a counselor is fully engaged and attentive. Additionally, it is important to be comfortable with absolute silence as this can give client’s time and permission to internally process.

For this “Five Minutes of Silence” portion of the assignment, you will take an opportunity to practice both skills. You are to engage with your client, during which you must take at least five minutes of this time to say absolutely nothing but try to just fully understand what your client is saying and feeling. Additionally, you will practice sitting in silence (both of you being silent) for at least 15 seconds to explore your reactions to the silence.

SOLER Technique

While listening to your subject, be aware of your own nonverbal attending skills. Effective listening is the key to being an effective counselor. These nonverbal skills are covered with the acronym SOLER (Egan, 2014). (Note: Use of this resource is not necessary to complete the activity.) Egan (2014) presents “SOLER” as a way the listener can: “. . . make sure you are physically present to a client.”

  • S—If it suits them, face the client squarely (some prefer up to 45 degrees, etc.).
  • O—Maintain an open posture with the client.
  • L—Lean toward the client (as appropriate) and nod your head.
  • E—Maintain appropriate eye contact with the client. Always consider culture when maintaining eye contact and watch for signs of stress or discomfort. (There is also a suggestion of changing the “E” to “A” to symbolize “aim” toward the client physically and directly, for the visually impaired counselors.)
  • R—Be a relaxed helper, as by doing so you greatly improve the quality and comfort of the sessions.

Reflection:(Counseling Skills: Silence Practice)

In 2–3 pages, critique your delivery of the informed consent, opening statement, and nonverbal attending skills (i.e., visual/eye contact, vocal qualities, verbal tracking, and body language—SOLER). Include the following in your critique:

  • A critique of your opening statement and informed consent delivery
  • A statement regarding if you were able to meet the minimum of 5 minutes of attentive silence or if you had difficulties
  • Identification of what was getting in the way of you fully listening for understanding while remaining silent
  • Discussion regarding your internalized thought and emotional process
  • Determination of what else you were aware of during this time
  • Explanation of how your “client” reacted to your silence
  • Development of strategies of ways to maintain this attentive “self-silence” in the future

Allow yourself at least three attempts to get the full five minutes, and then you can stop trying.

Your final product will be in a Microsoft Word document, written in APA format, and be approximately 3–4 pages in length (including your consent to counseling form). Your paper should be written in a clear, concise, and organized manner; demonstrate ethical scholarship in accurate representation and attribution of sources; and display accurate spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

Assignment 2: LASA 1: Cultural Autobiography (Solved)

Assignment 2: LASA 1: Cultural Autobiography (Solved)

The purpose of this assignment is to illustrate recognition of your own cultural background and how your worldview has been shaped by your family, role models and life experiences. This autobiography will help you express an appreciation for your own cultural identity and discover potential areas of development (Assignment 2: LASA 1: Cultural Autobiography (Solved)).

Begin by defining individuals that you consider family members. This includes, for example, parents or guardians, siblings and/or grandparents. Important information about these individuals includes places of birth, travel (if any), age, spiritual/religious beliefs, occupation, educational history, ethnicity, birth order, etc. In this description include the cultural heritage each individual and summarize the belief system of your family in general, including specific family values, religious and cultural practices, ceremonies, beliefs, and holiday celebrations. If possible, interview these individuals in an effort to gain new insight into your cultural heritage.

Next critically evaluate experiences in which you feel have had significant relevance in your multicultural development. Include both positive and negative experiences if applicable.

After taking a look at these influencing factors, critically examine and discuss who you are as a cultural being, including your racial identity. Think about your own development, functioning, values, behaviors and worldview and how you feel your family history, chosen role models, and experiences have shaped you. Describe how your life would be different had these cultural influences not been there. Be sure to include a description of interpersonal expectations for yourself and lifestyle choices. Finally, having taken a close look at your cultural autobiography, include potential biases which may influence how you interact with others. This could include, for example, favoring individuals of your own heritage or unconscious biases towards a certain cultural group.

Be sure to address each topic listed above and, as appropriate, cite the online course, the textbook, and other credible sources to substantiate the points you are making. For example, when discussing your racial identity please cite sources which you have referenced to better understand what this term means or use the text or lecture to substantiate points you are making about how gender has influenced your cultural development.

This paper should be approximately 4-6 pages and is due on Wednesday, August 3, 2016.

The Health Care Scene: Contemporary Trends (Solved)

The Health Care Scene: Contemporary Trends (Solved)

Question description (The Health Care Scene: Contemporary Trends (Solved))

The Health Care Scene: Contemporary Trends

As health care leaders, it is important to understand that health care is quite a dynamic field. Its constant changes are a result of continuing trends in regulation, policy, patient and provider advocacy efforts, as well as increasingly sophisticated technology and industry benchmarking guidelines.

For your assignment you review the possible topics for your Senior Project located in Week Five of your online course or in the “Components of Course Evaluation” section of this guide, and select the topic your training program will address. If you choose not to select a topic from the approved topic list, you must have your original topic approved by your instructor prior to submitting this assignment. THE TOPIC ISAnalyze the impact of any recent social and/or ethical trends on the health care industry. Discuss at least two issues

For this assignment, focus on a specific contemporary trend in health care and be sure to include all of the following influences:

  • Changes in client characteristics
  • Regulation of the health care industry
  • Reimbursement patterns and mandates
  • Restructuring of health care organizations
  • Impact of technology
  • Ongoing social and ethical factors

Address the information above as it pertains to your selected topic, in an eight to ten slide (excluding title and reference slides) PowerPoint presentation.

Your presentation should conclude with a summary describing the following concerns:

  • Overall, why should health care managers be aware of this change and trend?
  • What impact does this trend have on the stakeholder groups involved (e.g., patients, providers, administrators, third-party payers, legislators, etc.) for a specific organization specified (e.g., for profit, nonprofit, hospital, outpatient clinic, nursing home, etc.).

The information in this presentation will later be used as part of your Senior Project to set the context for the audience you select for a training program on the contemporary trend identified here.

Your presentation must include detailed speaker’s notes (i.e., at least 150 words) for each slide as well as a minimum of one to two scholarly sources from the Ashford University Library and one to two current, scholarly web sources.

Your presentation, and any citations used, must be in APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center. Examples of scholarly web sources are available in this week’s recommended websites. These sources will also count toward the required sources for your Senior Project. Your presentation must be engaging and relevant to your audience. Lines of text on a slide will not be sufficient for this assignment. It should contain images, graphics, and/or multimedia that communicate your training program clearly to your audience. For tips on creating an excellent presentation, read thisoverview. (The Health Care Scene: Contemporary Trends (Solved))

The foundations of psychological ethics (Solved)

The foundations of psychological ethics (Solved)

Are the state practice act, rules and regulations of the licensing board available online? Please note any problems of access (is the web resource consumer friendly?) and how they are incorporated (administrative regulation, state statute, etc.). Are the APA Ethical Principles incorporated into the rules of your board? (Please note whether the Ethical Principles are advisory or have the power of law.) If the Ethical Principles are not there, does the state or province have its own set of ethical principles? Please provide these and discuss their similarities or differences compared with the APA Ethical Principles (The foundations of psychological ethics (Solved)).

Ignorance is No Excuse: Community Standards of Practice as Part of the Broader Profession of Psychology

Purpose

This week we will continue exploring and discussing the foundations of psychological ethics. This material will assist in examining specific ethical behaviors in upcoming weeks. A key focus for this session is knowing what you need to know to practice within bounds. This includes various standards, rules, and ethical principles.

Objectives

1. Become familiar with the resources available online from your state or provincial licensing board and the role of the APA ethics code in those resources.

2. Gain a global familiarity with the Ethical Principles and Standards of the American Psychological Association.

Knowledge is key. If you are not familiar with your state practice act (and perhaps the notion of Sunset legislation), the rules and regulations of the licensing board in your state, the applicable code of ethics (the APA code of Ethics is for APA members, it may or may not be part of the expectations of your licensing body), what the reporting laws are for mandated exceptions to confidentiality (child/elder abuse), what the laws are related to family disputes -particularly child custody, what the laws are related to sexual exploitation, and whether such major issues as duty to warn apply, then you are vulnerable to making a mistake because you did not know. The law takes a dim view of not knowing the rules when you are part of a professional body. You need to learn those things that directly affect you.

If you get sued for warning someone they are at risk based on a therapeutic communication, it can be proper in both directions. Your client had the reasonable assumption of privilege if that is what the state rules are, or what you told him, and you may be answering a higher call in warning someone they are at risk, but you still can get sued.

Complaints against psychologists are (more or less according to the jurisdiction occurring in the following order). 1) Sexual intimacies with clients; 2) negligence (failure to warn, improper supervision); 3) fraudulent practices (lying about work performed, diagnosis, price fixing, etc.). 4)criminal conduct; 5) impairment; and, 6) breach of confidentiality.

. Read

Bersoff, pp. 1-68
Fisher, pp. 7-12.

2. See Ken Pope’s website, www.kspope.com; review Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards www.asppb.org

3. On the web, find a copy of YOUR STATE’s licensing requirements. (The foundations of psychological ethics (Solved))

Case Study: Ethical Consultation (Solved)

A local shelter that receives funding from the National Institute of Health and Mental Health is upgrading its website. Along with several upgrades to the website, the web developer/consultant makes a suggestion that the shelter add a testimonial page where local citizens can describe their positive interactions with the shelter and its services. Since the web developer/consultant want to get that page up and running first, the developer suggests using some positive ratings and responses from Angie’s List® and other similar ratings sites that already have positive stories and experiences with the shelter Case Study: Ethical Consultation (Solved).

The director of the shelter loves the idea of a testimonial page. She thinks it would really add to the community feel of the shelter. However, knowing her funding source, she researches the APA Ethics Code and believes the shelter would be acting inappropriately. To discuss the matter in further detail, the director of the shelter calls you for an ethics consult.

GEN499: General Education Capstone (Solved)

GEN499: General Education Capstone (Solved)

Question description (GEN499: General Education Capstone (Solved))

Final Research Project

The topic of your project needs to be a contemporary societal problem, such as healthcare reform, immigration reform, privacy rights, euthanasia, First Amendment Rights, stem cell research, capital punishment, corporate prisons, legalizing drugs, ageism, animal rights, cloning, prayer in schools, racial profiling, recycling/conservation, sexism, outsourcing jobs, workplace bullying, etc. The topic must focus on a single aspect, as in “How far do corporations intrude into the private lives of their employers?” or “The social costs of financing the distribution of custom-designed drugs.” You may suggest another topic to use, but the instructor must approve the topic during the Week Two Discussion.

The Final Research Project will present research relating the responsibilities of a critical thinker to contemporary society. In this assignment, you will do the following:

  • Research one aspect of a contemporary social problem.
  • Define the problem.
  • Propose a possible solution for the problem.
  • Create an argument that supports your thesis position. You should take on the perspective of a critically thinking researcher. The argument must present a thesis statement and evidence to support the thesis statement.
  • Evaluate the ethical outcomes that result from the position you take on the issue and explain how those outcomes would influence society and culture.
  • Interpret statistical data from at least two peer-reviewed scholarly sources.
  • Evaluate evidence using the following standards: validity, reliability, and bias related to the chosen topic and accurately identify strengths and weaknesses.

Research and Define the Problem
You must take on the perspective of your major field of study and explain in your paper what that perspective is and how it informs your view of the topic. The topics listed above are far too broad to write about in 10–12 pages (3,300–3,900 words). Instead, you must choose a narrowly defined thesis and approach it from the perspective of your field.

Example: If you are an economics major, and you are interested in immigration reform, you should approach a very specific aspect of immigration reform through the lens of economic theory and practice. A specific thesis question would not be, “How does illegal immigration influence the U.S. economy?” One could write thousands of pages on such a topic. Instead, a better question would be, “How do illegal immigrant hotel workers in Chicago impact the economy of Northern Illinois?” You would then want to do the research and determine the positive and negative impacts they have, ultimately trying to conclude how illegal immigration in this area should be approached ethically.

How to Hone Your Thesis: It is important that you start your research early in this course. Try to find the most important contemporary questions and theories in your field of study and then align the most important questions with a very specific aspect of the general topics above. For example, if you are a psychology major, you might want to start thinking within the realm of healthcare reform or aspects of mental health and criminality in the prison system (GEN499: General Education Capstone (Solved)).

Your Argument
You must present a complete argument, including a major claim with at least five points of evidence, information, or data that will prove the claim.

  • The thesis statement must be
    • A clear, simple declarative sentence as the first or last sentence in the opening paragraph of the essay.
    • Of such a nature that it can be substantiated, corroborated, verified, and proved through appeal to primary or secondary academic research source materials.
  • The introductory paragraph must
    • Present the thesis statement, an explanation for the importance of the topic, and its relation to the student’s field of study.
  • Beliefs, opinions, and personal opinions must not be introduced at any point in the essay.
  • All beliefs and opinions should be supported with academic evidence. Sweeping generalizations with no supporting academicevidence do not reflect adequate critical thinking skills.
  • Do not include rhetorical questions in your essays. All the questions that are pertinent to your project need to be answered in your essay and your answers again need to be supported with evidence from peer-reviewed journal articles and academically published books.

Attributes of Good Critical Thinking in Papers

  • Your paper should include academic sources that explain multiple sides of the issue.
  • The evidence that you use should come from high-level researchers engaged in your field of study.
  • Your interpretations of the evidence should be objective and state the conclusions and theses presented in the evidence clearly and fairly.
  • Your paper should place the various forms of evidence in relation to one another and demonstrate why one form or perspective is stronger than the other positions that one could take on the issue.
  • Your paper should point out the limitations of current evidence and attempt to indicate areas for future research.

Ethical Outcomes of the Position You Take
After you have defined the problem and created an argument about how one ought to respond to the issue, you need to explain the ethical outcomes of the position you have taken. This should again be in relation to the field of study in which you are working. There might be different ethical outcomes that result from your analysis. For example, going back to the example issue above, from an economic standpoint, illegal immigrants might contribute positively to the economy of Northern Illinois in a specific number of ways. Thus, an economist who believes that positive impact to the economy is the greatest good would say that one should promote the use of illegal immigrants. However, because these workers are often paid less than others and eliminate jobs that could be done by residents of Chicago, there could be other negative ethical outcomes that would outweigh the positive impacts to the economy. It is your goal to draw out the ethical implications of your thesis and explain the underlying rationale that is the foundation for your claim that one action is better than another.

  • Critical thinkers are those who can outline the positive and negative ethical impacts of their positions. In addition, they are able to provide a rationale for why they believe a specific position is the right position, even when it leads to negative outcomes.
  • Critical thinkers are also able to be honest and objective about the limitations and gray areas that pertain to their theses.

Child and Adolescent Development: Community Center Proposal (Solved)

Question description (Child and Adolescent Development: Community Center Proposal (Solved))

Last week we began working on the creation of the Community Child Development Center proposal by developing activities to promote physical development. In this week’s discussion, you have added to that by focusing on activities and toys that promote cognitive development. In this assignment, you will begin to create the overarching structure of your proposal. The focus of this outline to is to present as clear a picture as possible of your proposal so that you may receive feedback which will guide you as you create your final project. Please refer to the Final Project guidelines for more information on the Final Project as you prepare the outline of your proposal. Using the PSY 104 Community Center Proposal Template, you are to identify all of the activities and objects for each of your five rooms. Remember that you have already completed three activities in week two, and your discussion this week will add an additional activity and a toy. Be sure to incorporate those elements into your outline! You do not have to flesh out the details; the outline will just provide the blueprint for where you are heading. Remember that each room must contain two activities and one toy or object. Each room must address physical, cognitive, and psychosocial development. In addition, each room must address at least one theme. The outline can be formatted in bulleted points like this:

Paragraph 1

  • Identify the activity (all you need here is the title of the activity)
  • Identify the theory and/or research you will use to support the use of this class or activity (i.e Piaget’s formal operations, Erikson’s psychosocial development, etc) You only need to identify it in the outline—not explain it yet
  • Identify which developmental domain(s) this activity supports (physical, cognitive, and psychosocial)

Paragraph 2

  • Identify the activity (all you need here is the title of the activity)
  • Identify the theory and/or research you will use to support the use of this class or activity (i.e Piaget’s formal operations, Erikson’s psychosocial development, etc) You only need to identify it in the outline—not explain it yet
