Your task is to design a new Technology-Enhanced Learning Environment for your professional or educational setting to help improve student learning of some target content, skill, or disposition. You may use technologies and learning environment ideas studied in this course or others you have encountered on your own.
You will write an APA formatted academic paper describing the design of your learning environment. You will not need to do any actual implementation.
Your document should have the following sections:
1. Section 1: Introduction (1 paragraph)
Provide a one paragraph overview of (a) the topic/content/skill/disposition you are planning to address, (b) the type of learning environment you plan to create, and (c) the technologies you plan to use (or plan to create) to support this learning environment.
2. Section 2: Topic/Subject Matter (1-2 paragraphs)
Explain the topic/content/skill/disposition you are planning to address and why you feel addressing this is important.
3. Section 3: Literature Review (1-2 pages minimum)
Provide a brief review of some of the research literature related to your learning environment. Your review does not need to be exhaustive, but at the very least it should (a) provide a little history and (b) describe the theories/approaches/concepts that provide the foundation for your learning environment design.
4. Section 4: Learning Environment Description (2-3 pages minimum)
Describe your desired learning environment. In particular, do the following:
• Describe what the learning environment would look like for a participant.
• Describe what a teacher and participant would do in the environment.
• Identify the necessary technology tool(s). Explain how your chosen technology tool(s) would help the functioning of your learning environment.
• Explain why you think this learning environment should help given your subject matter.
5. Section 5: Research Plan (2-4 paragraphs)
Write up a brief research plan that explains how you would assess the effectiveness of your learning environment design
Submit a Microsoft Word document to the “Final Project Sharing Discussion Board.” Links to cloud-based documents will not be accepted. If you create your original online, you must export to a Microsoft Word file.
