Based on your readings, prepare a critical analysis of the case focusing on the application of HR concepts and management practice through the assigned questions.

In your analysis, you are required to discuss the following questions:
1. What things about IBM’s culture, history, values, organization and workforce offered support for creating a globally integrated enterprise? What things offered potential hindrances to the globally integrated enterprise?
2. What specific human resource management and human capital indicators suggested that a change was needed in how IBM approached its talent management decisions?
3. If you were an IBM business leader, would you careabout improving talent management at IBM?
a. What would be the evidence you would probably be seeing that would cause you to desire an improvement?
4. Why would you care about improving talent management at IBM?Discuss the future profile of HR leaders and non-HR leaders in systems such as IBM’s. Should organizations emphasize deep background in the HR profession, broad business understanding or both?

Additional research is required.
· Use the data presented in the case study and the information provided by required course readings, class activities and discussions.
· Be sure to apply concepts, frameworks, theories, ideas from the required readings to the analysis.
Paper Guidelines:
The paper should include – at minimum – these four sections/headings:
· Introduction– Overview of the entire case and the relevant talent management issues
· Analysis – Separate subheading should be included for each question in Analysis
· Conclusion – A synthetic analysis of the case issues in total and your personal key points/take away’s from the case and the specific implications to HR management
· References – in APA 6th edition format
IMPORTANT: You must use your own original writing and critical analysis.
· Do not use quotations from the case.
· Do not restate the facts of the case.
· Use paraphrasing, justification, and rationale for explaining your analysis and recommendations clearly and substantively.
