In 2004, a Washington Post article concluded. “Why take political, financial and potential military risks when there is no strategic or domestic cost to remaining on the sidelines?” Does the U.S. have an obligation to prevent mass human suffering? Should the US promote human rights abroad? What does it gain or lose? (closes 6-17 @ 11:30 pm)
