This is from week 2:From the AACN Essentials self-assessment, I have a score of 45. The major areas that I need to improve include clinical skills including patient handling, interpersonal skills to help in interviewing patients and how to manage patient conditions. I also need to improve on my knowledge and education on upcoming health conditions, illnesses and their associated medications. I have also discovered that the essentials of patient centered care are the ultimate solution to ensure safe patient handling practices, cleaner hospitals and quality treatment to patients. I have a lot of room for improvement considering that I have known my weaknesses and areas that I need to improve. This has given me a basis and platform on which to build myself and ensure that I deliver quality patient centered treatment.
